Jennifer SaucedoI am a being made up of electrifying emotions and swarming ideas. I am the art that I make. Every sketch, brush stroke, carving, sculpting is pure "me". Art is what I create to manifest the contents of my mind that I wish to present to the world. The canvas is where I pour out these clamorous ideas and rich, human emotions that others can look at and either recognize or re-discover through my unique perspective.
The ideal future that I envision for myself is one where I can gain occupation by pursuing a career in which I am free to express my creativity and bring joy to other people. My dream job would be that of an animator. Cartoons and animation have fascinated me ever since my mother sat me in front of a television as a child. I admire and appreciate every aspect of animation as well including the great effort that goes into creating it. Animation is considered a form of art and expression because of the way that it can evoke and manipulate emotions through imaginative visuals, and a deep meaning behind it, much like traditional visual art. On the contrary, in animation the pictures can move and even create sound. In this way animation not only interacts with the sense of sight, but sound as well, using words and music to amount to something visually stunning, emotionally engaging and overall entertaining. The art of animation is something that I wish to learn more about and even practice if given the opportunity. |
